Eugenio Ercolani is a film historian and filmmaker. After a long period as an AD for cinema and television, he becomes a content producer for the home-video market. He works with most of the boutique labels, among which Arrow Video, 88 Films, Treasured Films, Vinegar Syndrome, Cauldron Films, Second Sight, Visual Vengeance, Anolis Entertainment, Severin, Pulse Video, 8-Films, Studio S Entertainment, Fractured Visions, Cult Epics and Indicator, among others. He is the author of Darkening the Italian Screen vol. 1 & 2 (McFarland), Devil’s Advocates: Cruising (LUP), the latter penned with Marcus Stiglegger, and Cannibal Worlds (Pulse). Ercolani works and lives between London and Rome. He is the son of script supervisor Silvia Petroni and grandson of director Giulio Petroni.
