Synopsis
Jack the Ripper (1976) follows a respected London doctor who leads a double life, haunted by violent compulsions that drive him to murder women in the fog-shrouded streets of Whitechapel. As the police close in, his descent into madness mirrors the moral rot of the society that hides him. This period horror blends psychological tension and gothic atmosphere in a grim portrait of repression, cruelty, and guilt.
