Film Synopsis
The Perfume of the Lady in Black (1974) follows a successful laboratory manager whose life fractures into paranoia and bizarre visions after conversations about occult rites stir buried trauma tied to her mother’s tragic death. As shadowy figures in her social circle behave increasingly unnervingly and hallucinations blend with chilling events, her grip on reality dissolves into terror. This psychological horror blends surreal dread and creeping menace in a haunting study of memory and madness.
