Synopsis
Dinner with a Vampire (1989) follows four aspiring actors who believe they have won an audition and are invited to a famed horror director’s castle, only to learn that their host is a centuries-old vampire and that their “call” has deadly intent. As the vampire reveals his true nature and proposes that they must end his eternal life before dawn, tension builds through claustrophobic dread and darkly comic menace. This Italian horror blends gothic tropes with tongue-in-cheek parody in a macabre feast of undead suspense and camp.
