Film Synopsis
Sweets from a Stranger (1987) follows a community of sex workers in Rome terrorized by a brutal serial killer stalking their streets with a razor and bolt gun. As murders mount and police efforts falter, a group of women band together to investigate, protect one another, and draw out the murderer operating in the shadows. This Italian giallo thriller blends creeping menace and social urgency in a stark study of vulnerability, solidarity, and relentless threat.
