Synopsis

Stephen Romano Presents Shock Festival (2010) follows a sprawling anthology of exploitation and horror film trailers and tributes curated by genre chronicler Stephen Romano, blurring the lines between real vintage promos and crafted faux previews drawn from the illustrated Shock Festival universe. As audiences journey through hundreds of remastered exploitation, horror, and grindhouse trailers spanning sleazy B-movies and cult oddities, the set celebrates underground cinema’s outrageous excesses with both reverence and satire. This American documentary-style anthology blends archival spectacle and cult film celebration in a marathon tribute to offbeat exploitation cinema.
