Film Synopsis

The Final Programme (1973) follows a flamboyant physicist and adventurer, as he searches for a microfilm containing the final stage of his father’s scientific project. As rival factions pursue the same formula and a secluded research group attempts to complete the experiment, the mission evolves into a plan to create a new, self-contained human being. This British science fiction fantasy blends psychedelic satire and apocalyptic speculation in a surreal meditation on identity and evolution.
