Synopsis
Conquest (1983) centers on a young archer named Ilias who leaves home carrying a mystical bow capable of firing supernatural arrows and enters a hostile land ruled by the sorceress Ocron. As beast-men, undead creatures, and supernatural enemies pursue him across a dreamlike wilderness while he joins forces with the wandering warrior Mace, their quest becomes a struggle against the dark forces controlling the realm. This Italian-Spanish-Mexican sword-and-sorcery fantasy horror film examines courage and survival within a surreal prehistoric landscape, as evil closes in from all sides, with dark magic, monstrous adversaries, and mythic heroism.
