Film Synopsis
Black Belly of the Tarantula (1971) centers on a Rome police inspector assigned to solve a string of brutal murders targeting young women. As the killer employs a rare method that leaves victims conscious but unable to move while clues connect the crimes to a network of personal relationships, jealousy, and hidden desires, the investigation grows increasingly complex. This Italian giallo thriller examines obsession and deception within a world where appearances conceal dangerous secrets, as suspicion spreads among an expanding circle of suspects, with murder, voyeurism, and psychological intrigue.
