The object of man’s most ancient fear.

Venom (1981) follows a bungled kidnapping in a London townhouse where an attempted ransom plot unravels into a siege when a deadly black mamba is inadvertently released amidst captors and hostages. As the venomous snake slithers through ventilation and rooms, fear and chaos escalate between the criminals, their prisoners, and the police staked outside. This horror-thriller blends claustrophobic terror and escalating peril in a serpentine study of miscalculation and dread.
