Film Synopsis
Massacre at Central High (1976) centers on a new student who refuses to submit to a group of bullies exercising control over his high school. After they violently retaliate against him, he begins taking revenge, but the resulting shift in power reveals troubling ambitions among the students who were previously intimidated. This thriller transforms a high-school revenge story into an allegory about power and oppression, examining how quickly liberation can give way to another cycle of intimidation.
