A stone-age world of horrors… only one survived.
Synopsis
Last Cannibal World (1977) centers on a group of prospectors searching for oil in the jungles of Mindanao whose expedition collapses after attacks from indigenous cannibals destroy their camp and separate the survivors. As the remaining men become trapped within hostile terrain while one captive undergoes brutal imprisonment and psychological degradation inside the tribe’s cave system, survival steadily transforms into a savage struggle shaped by fear, violence, and desperation. This Italian cannibal exploitation horror film examines the collapse of civilized behavior within an unforgiving jungle environment, as isolation deepens, with bodily suffering, survival instinct, and primal brutality.
