Hands of Steel (1986) follows Paco Queruak, a cyborg programmed to kill an environmental activist who stands in the way of a powerful industrialist’s destructive plans. After failing his mission, Paco flees to Arizona and hides in a desert diner run by a woman who becomes his ally, all while being pursued by the industrialist’s henchmen and local arm-wrestlers. This sci-fi action thriller blends cyborg horror, dystopian intrigue, and pulpy 80s adventure.
