Film Synopsis
42nd Street Forever! Volume 1: Horror on 42nd Street (2004) presents 34 trailers from the 1960s through the early 1980s, transferred from film prints held by Ban 1 Productions. Although the subtitle emphasizes horror, the programme moves among numerous exploitation genres associated with New York’s 42nd Street cinemas. This DVD trailer anthology preserves the forceful narration, provocative imagery, and rapidly changing tone of period theatrical advertising.
