Film Synopsis
42nd Street Forever, Volume 2: The Deuce (2006) continues Synapse Films’ series with 56 theatrical trailers dating from the 1950s through the early 1980s. Arranged in loose thematic clusters, the programme shifts from road and urban action into erotic cinema, monster horror, espionage, and historical spectacle. This direct-to-DVD exploitation anthology recreates a late-night grindhouse programme through widescreen film-source transfers that preserve the forceful salesmanship and physical wear of the originals.
