In all the oceans of the world nothing is more feared than… Great White
Synopsis
The Last Shark (1981) portrays a thriving coastal community whose busiest season is thrown into crisis when a massive great white shark begins attacking swimmers and boaters. As a marine biologist and a seasoned shark hunter join forces to confront the relentless predator, mounting casualties and growing public panic place increasing pressure on local officials determined to keep the festivities alive. The film draws on shark horror, adventure, and suspense to explore humanity’s struggle against nature, the tension between public safety and economic interests, and the consequences of underestimating an unstoppable threat in this Italian production.
