Synopsis
Shango (1970) follows a Union Ranger held prisoner by Confederate soldiers who refuse to accept that the Civil War has ended. As he escapes captivity with the help of local villagers, he begins to rally resistance against a corrupt officer and his bandit allies who exploit the region. This Italian western blends violent action and political undertones in a story of justice, oppression, and resistance.
