Synopsis
The Grand Duel (1972) follows a former sheriff who aids a fugitive framed for the murder of a wealthy patriarch. As the young man returns to his hometown seeking justice, he faces relentless pursuit from the victim’s sons and escalating violence. This Italian-West German-French western blends revenge, mentorship, and moral ambiguity in a story of justice, corruption, and retribution.
