A man who is free never dies.
Film Synopsis
Keoma (1976) follows a former Union soldier who returns to his hometown after the Civil War and finds it dominated by a ruthless gang allied with his estranged half-brothers. As he intervenes to protect a pregnant woman and challenge the town’s oppressors, he becomes drawn into escalating violence and personal conflict. This Italian western blends bleak atmosphere, stylized violence, and allegorical themes of oppression, identity, and redemption.
