Edition and Packaging Notes
- Film Movement’s “50th Anniversary Restoration” Blu-ray includes a 16-page booklet with writing by Simon Abrams (“Ending the Silence”). Trailers included: Time to Die (1966), Ugly, Dirty and Bad (1976), Kamikaze 89 (1982), Once Were Warriors (1994), Hana-bi (1997) and The Dark Valley (2014). “Western, Italian Style” is also available on Blue Underground’s Blu-ray of Django (1966).
- Eureka’s “Limited Edition” Blu-ray includes a 36-page booklet with writing by Howard Hughes (“Freeze Frame: Sergio Corbucci’s Western Masterpieces” and “The Wild Ones: The Spaghetti Westerns of Klaus Kinski”), four lobby card reproductions and a double-sided fold-out poster. Reissued as a standard edition without booklet, cards and poster (2022/04/11).
