Film Synopsis
A Bullet for the General (1967) follows a bandit leader operating during the Mexican Revolution who leads raids to supply arms to rebel forces. As an American outsider joins his group and gains his trust, concealed intentions begin to disrupt the alliance and raise the stakes of their mission. This Italian western blends political undertones, violent action, and shifting loyalties in an exploration of revolution, greed, and ideological awakening.

Edition and Packaging Notes
- Cult Films’ Blu-ray is included in the “Spaghetti Westerns” box set with Django (1966) and Keoma (1976); and three art cards. Reissued separately (2025/04/28).
- Anchor Bay’s “The Spaghetti Western Collection” DVD includes a booklet with writing by Steven Paul Davies. It is also available in the “Once Upon A Time In Italy: The Spaghetti Western Collection” box set with Texas, Adios (1966), Compañeros (1970), The Four of the Apocalypse (1975) and Keoma (1976).
