Film Synopsis
Duck, You Sucker! (1971) centers on a resourceful outlaw who hopes to use the talents of a fugitive Irish revolutionary to carry out an ambitious bank robbery in revolutionary Mexico. As their partnership develops amid political upheaval, military oppression, and escalating violence while a raid on the Mesa Verde bank reveals a reality far different from what either man expected, they become increasingly involved in the revolutionary struggle. This Italian epic western examines friendship and political awakening within a world transformed by war and social upheaval, as personal ambitions give way to larger historical forces, with revolution, sacrifice, and survival.
