Film Synopsis
Delirium (1972) follows a respected criminal psychologist whose work with police leads him into suspicion when a series of bizarre murders of young women mirror his own hidden impulses. As evidence mounts and dark secrets surface around the victims and his life, the line between suspicion and truth blurs into paranoia and dread. This thriller blends psychological unease and giallo intrigue in a disturbing study of guilt and deception.

Everything about the film is off-key, out-of-whack, whether it be the stilted dialogue, the over-the-top performances, the inappropriately jaunty score … it all adds up to create an atmosphere of sustained hysteria for the duration of its bloated running-time.
