Film Synopsis
Hitch-Hike (1977) follows a quarreling couple whose cross-country drive through California turns into a nightmare when they pick up a seemingly harmless hitchhiker who proves to be a dangerous fugitive with stolen cash. As the stranger’s cruelty and demands escalate, the tension between captivity, distrust, and survival tightens across scorching highways and desolate towns. This road thriller blends grim violence and psychological dread in a stark study of greed and peril.
