The Horrible Dr. Hichcock (1962) centers on a doctor whose secret fascination with death leads to the accidental loss of his first wife. Years later, he returns to his London home with a new bride, who begins experiencing strange events suggesting that the past still inhabits the house. This Italian Gothic horror film pushes familiar themes of forbidden desire and haunted domestic spaces into more transgressive territory, using vivid color and morbid imagery to create an atmosphere where erotic obsession and death become inseparable.
