Synopsis
The Iron Commissioner (1978) follows a strict police commissioner reassigned to a local precinct after clashes with authority due to his uncompromising methods. As a vengeful young man targets him for a past arrest and kidnaps his son, he is forced to evade oversight and pursue the assailant through the city to prevent further violence. This Italian poliziottesco crime film centers on a personal vendetta within law enforcement, as time runs out, with justice, retaliation, and institutional pressure.
