David Del Valle is a journalist, columnist, film historian and radio & television commentator. As an expert on horror, science-fiction, cult and fantasy film genres, he has been interviewed by the BBC, A&E Network, Channel 4 (London) and The Sci-Fi Channel; and his print articles and interviews have appeared in such publications as Cinefantastique, Scarlet Street, Cult Movies, Fangoria, Films and Filming (as a Hollywood correspondent), Video Watchdog, The Dark Side (UK), Fantastyka (France) and L’Ecran Fantastique (France).
David was producer and on-camera host of Vincent Price’s only interview regarding his career in the horror film, which won awards in Italy’s prestigious Mystery Festival. He also produced and hosted a series of television interviews called “Sinister Image” which included guests Cameron Mitchell, Curtis Harrington, Russ Meyer, and others. He has written a trilogy of books: Lost Horizons Beneath the Hollywood Sign, Six Reels Under, and Del Valley of the Dolls, consisting of essays from his 25 years as a Hollywood agent and correspondent observing show business. More recently, David completed a year as a radio host of an entertainment-oriented program in Palm Springs, California.
