Film Synopsis
Fanatic (1965) centers on a young American woman who visits her late fiancé’s mother in rural England, only to discover the woman is a deranged religious zealot who imprisons her for perceived sins. As her hostess’ beliefs turn violent and controlling, she must fight to escape before it’s too late. This tense psychological thriller blends claustrophobic suspense, fanaticism, and creeping dread in a chilling tale of obsession and captivity.
