Film Synopsis
The Damned (1962) portrays an American tourist who falls for the sister of a ruthless gang leader while visiting the English coast. As the couple flee relentless pursuit and seek refuge in an isolated coastal community, they encounter increasingly unsettling events that lead them toward a shocking discovery. This British science fiction thriller blends psychological suspense, juvenile delinquency, and Cold War allegory, exploring violence, isolation, authoritarian control, and the uncertain future of humanity.
