Film Synopsis
The Camp on Blood Island (1958) focuses on Allied prisoners enduring brutal conditions in a Japanese camp in Malaya during the final days of World War II. When they secretly learn that Japan has surrendered, they must prevent the news from reaching a commandant who has vowed to kill the captives rather than allow them to be liberated. This British war drama turns the approaching end of the conflict into a struggle for survival, building tension through secrecy, resistance, and the threat of violent reprisals.
