Synopsis

The Shadow of the Cat (1961) follows a group of conspirators who murder a wealthy woman in her country estate while her pet cat observes the crime. As the killers attempt to secure their inheritance and eliminate the only witness, they are gripped by fear and a series of deadly events tied to the animal’s presence. This British horror film blends gothic atmosphere and psychological tension in a story of guilt, paranoia, and retribution.
