Film Synopsis
The Thing That Couldn’t Die (1958) depicts a young woman with psychic abilities whose discovery of a long-buried chest on a California ranch awakens an evil preserved for centuries. As greed, fear, and supernatural influence consume those around her, an ancient power begins manipulating the living in its relentless pursuit of freedom. Combining Gothic horror, supernatural mystery, and fantasy, the film explores temptation, corruption, and the enduring power of evil across the centuries.

- Scream Factory’s Blu-ray includes a 12-page booklet. It is included in the “Universal Horror Collection, Volume 6” box set with The Black Castle (1952), Cult of the Cobra (1955) and The Shadow of the Cat (1961).
- Umbrella’s Blu-ray contains no extras. It is included in the “Universal Horror: Monsters & Curiosities” box set. It contains a 100-page booklet and ten art cards.
- Universal’s “Vault Series” DVD-R contains no extras.
