Film Synopsis
Curse of the Undead (1959) centers on a mysterious gunfighter hired to intervene in a violent feud between rival ranchers, unsettling the isolated frontier community with his quiet presence and deadly reputation. As unexplained deaths, growing suspicion, and long-buried secrets begin to surround the stranger, a determined preacher searches for the truth behind the terrifying curse that follows him. This horror western combines Gothic vampire mythology with frontier drama, emphasizing fate, redemption, faith, and the timeless struggle between good and evil.

Edition and Packaging Notes
- Kino’s Blu-ray includes trailers for The Black Sleep (1956), Black Sabbath (1963), The Oblong Box (1969) and Zoltan, Hound of Dracula (1977).
- Umbrella’s Blu-ray contains no extras. It is included in the “Universal Horror: Monsters & Curiosities” box set. It contains a 100-page booklet and ten art cards.
