Meet the Creeper!
Synopsis
House of Horrors (1946) depicts a frustrated sculptor whose fading ambitions take an unsettling turn after he saves a scarred fugitive from drowning and offers him shelter. As the mysterious stranger begins eliminating the artist’s perceived enemies, admiration gives way to fear as violence and moral compromise consume their uneasy alliance. Blending Gothic horror, psychological crime, and film noir influences, the film examines artistic frustration, manipulation, and the corrupting influence of obsession through a dark tale of loyalty and vengeance.
