Synopsis
Night Monster (1942) depicts a secluded country estate transformed into the setting for a deadly mystery after a wealthy invalid gathers the physicians he believes have wronged him. As unexplained deaths, unsettling phenomena, and growing suspicion engulf the household, those trapped within the estate struggle to uncover the force behind the mounting violence. Blending Gothic horror, murder mystery, and supernatural suspense, the film examines revenge, guilt, and the fear of unseen powers through an atmosphere of creeping dread.
