Film Synopsis
Night Monster (1942) depicts a secluded country estate transformed into the setting for a deadly mystery after a wealthy invalid gathers the physicians he believes have wronged him. As unexplained deaths, unsettling phenomena, and growing suspicion engulf the household, those trapped within the estate struggle to uncover the force behind the mounting violence. Blending Gothic horror, murder mystery, and supernatural suspense, the film examines revenge, guilt, and the fear of unseen powers through an atmosphere of creeping dread.

- Scream Factory’s Blu-ray is included in the “Universal Horror Collection, Volume 4” box set with Night Key (1937), The Climax (1944) and House of Horrors (1946). It contains a 12-page booklet.
- Umbrella’s Blu-ray contains no extras. It is included in the “Universal Horror: Monsters & Curiosities” box set. It contains a 100-page booklet and ten art cards.
- Eureka’s Blu-ray is included in the “Creeping Horror” box set with Murders in the Zoo (1933), Horror Island (1941) and House of Horrors (1946). It includes a booklet with writing by Craig Ian Mann and Jon Towlson.
- Universal’s “Vault Series” DVD-R contains no extras.
