Film Synopsis
Dracula (1958) centers on vampire hunter Van Helsing, who pursues Count Dracula after a colleague’s attempt to destroy the vampire ends in tragedy. As Dracula turns his attention toward the man’s family, Van Helsing races to protect them and bring his reign of terror to an end. This British Gothic horror film from Hammer Films combines atmospheric imagery, sensuality, and bloody violence with an energetic reinterpretation of Bram Stoker’s classic vampire story.
