Film Synopsis
A young schoolteacher arrives in a remote Transylvanian village and discovers that Count Dracula’s deadly legacy lives on through his loyal vampire disciple. As innocent villagers fall victim to chilling attacks, the legendary vampire hunter Van Helsing arrives to confront the growing evil. This classic Hammer horror sequel blends gothic atmosphere, suspense, and a relentless battle between good and darkness.

In many respects, The Brides of Dracula remains the perfect Gothic Hammer horror. Its production design, cinematography, music, costumes, direction and performances are all quite brilliant.

- Universal’s Blu-ray contains no extras. It is included in the “Hammer Horror 8-Film Collection” with The Curse of the Werewolf (1961), Night Creatures (1962), The Phantom of the Opera (1962), The Kiss of the Vampire (1963), Paranoiac (1963), The Evil of Frankenstein (1964) and Nightmare (1964).
- Final Cut’s Blu-ray is included in “The Hammer Collection: The Universal Years” box set with The Curse of the Werewolf (1961), Captain Clegg (1962) and The Kiss of the Vampire (1963). It is also available individually without the “Past Masters” documentary and poster gallery extras.
