Film Synopsis
A young couple’s honeymoon turns into a nightmare when they stumble upon a sinister vampire cult led by a charismatic and evil count. As they fight to escape the cult’s deadly grasp, a vampire hunter arrives to aid them in a battle against darkness. This eerie Hammer horror blends gothic romance, chilling suspense, and supernatural terror in a fight for survival.

Edition and Packaging Notes
- Universal’s Blu-ray contains no extras. It is included in the “Hammer Horror 8-Film Collection” with The Brides of Dracula (1960), The Curse of the Werewolf (1961), Night Creatures (1962), The Phantom of the Opera (1962), Paranoiac (1963), The Evil of Frankenstein (1964) and Nightmare (1964).
- Wicked-Vision’s Blu-ray is also available in three Mediabook editions, each including a 24-page booklet with writing by Dr. Rolf Giesen and Uwe Sommerlad (in German).
- Final Cut’s Blu-ray is included in “The Hammer Collection: The Universal Years” box set with The Brides of Dracula (1960), The Curse of the Werewolf (1961) and Captain Clegg (1962). It is also available individually without the “Past Masters” documentary and poster gallery extras.
- Universal’s DVD contains no extras. It is included in “The Hammer Horror Series” box set with The Brides of Dracula (1960), The Curse of the Werewolf (1961), Night Creatures (1962), The Phantom of the Opera (1962), Paranoiac (1963), The Evil of Frankenstein (1964) and Nightmare (1964). Reissued with 4 DVD-9s instead of 2 DVD-18s for better player compatibility.
