Like nothing in this world you’ve ever thrilled to before!
Dead of Night (1945) follows a group of strangers who gather at a country estate only to find that each of them has been drawn there by a shared dream, setting off a series of eerie and uncanny tales told within the framing narrative. As psychological dread, ghostly specters, and creeping premonitions interlock through recursive stories of ventriloquist dummies, haunted mirrors, and cursed antiques, the boundary between dream and waking terror thins to disturbing effect. This horror anthology blends surreal storytelling and atmospheric dread in a landmark cycle of supernatural cinema.
