What is the strange terrifying evil secret of the dummy… and why is it locked in a cage every night?
Film Synopsis
Devil Doll (1964) follows a sinister ventriloquist and hypnotist whose stage act with a lifelike dummy conceals a more malevolent purpose as he ensnares a wealthy heiress in his web of manipulation. As a skeptical newspaperman investigates bizarre occurrences and the dummy’s eerie autonomy, he uncovers past deaths and occult‑tinged schemes that tighten the grip of dread. This horror thriller blends hypnotic menace and psychological unease in a creeping study of control, illusion, and corrupted agency.
