Film Synopsis
Assault (1971) centers on a woman who becomes involved in a police investigation after briefly glimpsing a rapist and killer responsible for a series of attacks near a girls’ school. As detectives pursue several plausible suspects without identifying the culprit, she agrees to act as bait in a dangerous attempt to draw the attacker out. This British crime thriller builds its suspense through a carefully structured investigation, combining psychological tension with giallo-influenced misdirection to keep both its characters and audience uncertain.
