Film Synopsis
Twisted Nerve (1968) follows a disturbed young man who pretends to have a mental disability to get close to a kind woman, hiding a capacity for manipulation and violence beneath his innocent façade. As his obsession deepens, deception turns deadly and the veneer of gentility collapses into madness. This psychological thriller blends suburban unease and Hitchcockian menace in a chilling study of repression, delusion, and identity.
