Synopsis

Endless Night (1972) centers on an ambitious young chauffeur who becomes romantically involved with a wealthy American heiress after discovering a secluded coastal property he dreams of transforming into an ideal home. As warnings about the land’s curse, unsettling encounters, and growing tensions surrounding the couple’s marriage intensify while suspicious deaths begin disrupting their isolated estate, emotional instability and hidden motives gradually undermine their idyllic future. This British psychological mystery thriller examines obsession and deception within a gothic romantic framework, as suspicion spreads, with class ambition, fatalism, and psychological manipulation.
