Synopsis
The Man in the Back Seat (1961) follows two petty criminals who assault a bookmaker during a robbery and discover his cash case is chained to his wrist. As they drive through the night attempting to free the money and evade detection, their situation becomes increasingly desperate and unstable. This British crime film blends noir tension and claustrophobic suspense in a story of panic, greed, and moral collapse.
