Synopsis
The Criminal (1960) follows a career criminal who plans a major robbery upon release from prison but is quickly captured after the heist. As both the authorities and his criminal associates pressure him to disclose the hidden loot, violence and betrayal escalate within and beyond the prison walls. This British crime film blends stark realism and noir elements in a story of greed, power, and survival within a brutal underworld.
