Jennifer has a few million close friends. She’s going to need them all.
Film Synopsis
Phenomena (1985) centers on an American teenager sent to a Swiss boarding school where a killer is targeting young women in the surrounding area. After her sleepwalking brings her close to the violence, she befriends an entomologist who recognizes her unusual ability to communicate with insects and helps her use it to search for clues. This Italian supernatural horror film combines giallo mystery, dreamlike imagery, and grotesque violence, turning its heroine’s affinity with insects into an imaginative link between the natural world and a macabre murder investigation.
