Film Synopsis
Inferno (1980) portrays a woman who discovers an occult book claiming that her New York apartment building is one of three houses created for the mysterious Three Mothers. When she disappears, her brother travels from Rome and follows a trail of deaths, architectural clues, and inexplicable events within the building. This Italian supernatural horror builds a dreamlike mystery through saturated colour, elaborate interiors, alchemical symbols, and a shifting boundary between physical and supernatural spaces.
