Film Synopsis
Lisa and the Devil (1973) follows a tourist in Spain who becomes lost and finds herself drawn into a decaying mansion inhabited by a mysterious butler and a family obsessed with death and illusion. As time and identity unravel, she’s trapped in a surreal cycle of desire, decay, and damnation. This dreamlike horror film blends gothic atmosphere and metaphysical symbolism in Mario Bava’s haunting meditation on sin, memory, and eternal recurrence.
