Film Synopsis
The Sentinel (1977) follows a young model seeking independence who relocates to a historic brownstone in Brooklyn after a history of emotional instability. As strange neighbors, unexplained phenomena, and physical distress intensify, she uncovers connections between the building and a concealed force tied to religious purpose and unseen threat. This horror film blends psychological unease, religious horror, and urban isolation in an examination of guilt, redemption, and the boundary between the living and the damned.
