Film Synopsis
The Omen (1976) follows a U.S. ambassador who secretly adopts an orphaned infant to spare his wife the grief of losing their newborn child. As a series of disturbing deaths and ominous events surround the boy’s upbringing, mounting evidence suggests the child is linked to a malevolent prophecy, placing the family under growing threat. This horror film blends religious dread, psychological tension, and apocalyptic suggestion in an examination of fate, belief, and the fear of corrupted innocence.
